For the first two books and My Mommy is a Nurse, we chose careers we knew. Danielle was a teacher for many years and was raised by her mother who taught for 28 years. Jina works in healthcare and has the privilege of working with many outstanding nurses.
We are inspired by the real life women in our lives.
